This is to inform that Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a leading player in India’s renewable energy sector and a subsidiary of Tata Power, has signed a landmark Group Captive Power Delivery Agreement (PDA) with Fiat India Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. for a 12.62 MWp renewable energy project.
The project, to be developed in Akola, Maharashtra, is expected to generate approximately 20.63 million units of clean energy in its first year. The power will be supplied to Fiat’s manufacturing facility in Ranjangaon.
This initiative will significantly reduce carbon emissions annually and reflects the shared commitment of both companies to sustainable industrial growth and net-zero goals. The agreement further strengthens TPREL’s position as a key enabler in India’s renewable energy transition, offering innovative hybrid solutions tailored for industrial and commercial consumers.
